Dr. Staci Hoff
Research Director, Washington Traffic Safety Commission
Dr. Staci Hoff is the Director of the Washington Traffic Safety Commission’s Research and Data Division (RADD). The RADD manages the Washington Fatality Analysis Reporting System (FARS), a source of fatal crash information provided to the traffic safety community to foster data-driven decision-making. Staci works to build partnerships in data sharing, analysis, and research. She identifies unique sources of information for implementing and evaluating traffic safety efforts, including monitoring the impacts of recreational marijuana legalization.
Staci joined the WTSC in 2012. Prior to that, Staci was an epidemiologist with the Washington Department of Health specializing in the management and dissemination of hospital data, vital statistics, and weighted survey data. Staci has a PhD in Public Health Epidemiology and a Master of Science in Public Health, both from Walden University. She also has a Bachelor’s in Biology degree from Idaho State University.
