Tennessee Department of Safety and Homeland Security
Patrick Dolan currently manages the statistics office for the TN Dept. of Safety and Homeland Security. He is an expert in traffic crash classification and crash data models, and has over eight years' experience working with traffic records systems and analysis. Previously he served as the lead analyst for the Department’s predictive analytics program, the statistical analyst for the Department’s commercial vehicle enforcement unit, and as a statistical analyst for the Department’s Tennessee Integrated Traffic Analysis Network (TITAN) business unit. He was among the original employees who implemented the TITAN system, which is a statewide all-electronic traffic data warehouse and analysis tool. The TITAN system fostered and continues to be a critical piece of the data-driven approach to traffic crash reduction in Tennessee, and particularly within the Tennessee Highway Patrol. Mr. Dolan received his Bachelor’s degree, cum laude, from Belmont University and the Master of Arts degree from Middle Tennessee State University where he was inducted into the Phi Kappa Phi national honor society.
