Rhonda Stricklin has been with the Center for Advanced Public Safety (CAPS) at the University of Alabama since 2002. She currently serves as an Associate Director of the research center with her focus on Analysis, Outreach and Business Development aspects. Rhonda is the principal investigator (PI) or Co-PI on multiple contracts/grants. These grants total over 2 million dollars annually. She also manages several annual traffic safety analysis projects at CAPS such as the Click-It-or-Ticket evaluation project, the State of Alabama Highway Safety Plan project, and the Crash Facts Book project among others. She coordinated the deployment of the eCite software developed at CAPS along with equipment to all the local law enforcement in the state. She serves as the media liaison for CAPS for crash data requests and other information.
Rhonda is very active in the Alabama TRCC. She has attended all TRF conferences since 2002 and managed an exhibit booth at each of them.
Rhonda received a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Alabama.
