The Association of Transportation Safety Information Professionals has migrated from a sub-committee
under the National Safety Council to a stand-alone professional association in 2009. It exists to
further the development and sharing of traffic records system procedures, tools, and professionalism.
Membership is open to any professional working within the areas of traffic safety data collection,
management, and analysis.

Edmonton Traffic Safety Conference
ATSIP was pleased to participate in the 5th Annual Edmonton Conference on
Urban Traffic Safety held at the Shaw Convention Center, Edmonton, Canada
April 28 - May 1, 2013. The organizers invited ATSIP to provide content and
run a Traffic Records Forum as a special session on May 2nd.
